Electronic and Electrical Products

The export testing of electronic and electrical products mainly includes CE certification and EMC testingCE certification CE certification is a mandatory safety certification for electronic and electrical products exported to the European Union, covering machinery, electronics, electrical equipment, toys, medical equipment and many other products. Companies need to ensure that their products comply with the EU directives in a safe, healthy and healthy manner.

In addition, the company always adheres to the service tenet of "professional, efficient, caring, and thoughtful", providing one-stop services from customer consultation to testing and certification completion, greatly saving customers' time and energy.

Common testing standards

European Union

CE certification: It is a mandatory certification of the European Union, indicating that the product complies with the requirements of relevant EU directives and coordinated standards. Involving the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (CE), etc., to ensure that electronic and electrical products meet EU standards in terms of safety, health, and environmental protection.

RoHS Directive: Restrict the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers, phthalates, etc. in electronic and electrical equipment to protect the environment and human health.

REACH regulation: requires companies to register, evaluate, authorize, and restrict the chemical substances they produce or import, ensuring a high level of protection for human health and the environment. Various chemical substances in electronic and electrical products must comply with the requirements of REACH regulation.

America

FCC certification: The Federal Communications Commission regulates the electromagnetic compatibility and radio frequency performance of electronic products in the United States. Electronic and electrical products that involve wireless communication functions or generate electromagnetic radiation must pass FCC certification to ensure that the product will not interfere with other electronic devices and communication systems.

UL certification: It is a certification from Underwriters Laboratories in the United States, which evaluates the safety of electronic and electrical products. The testing of electrical safety, fire resistance, mechanical structure, and other aspects of the product, although not mandatory certification, has a high degree of recognition in the market.

California Proposition 65: Require businesses to provide warnings to California residents about chemicals present in their products that may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive hazards. If electronic and electrical products contain harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, phthalates, etc., they must comply with the requirements of this proposal.

Japan

PSE certification: It is a mandatory safety certification in Japan for electrical products. According to different product classifications, it is divided into diamond shaped PSE certification and circular PSE certification. Diamond PSE certification is applicable to specific electrical products and has strict requirements; Circular PSE certification is applicable to general electrical products.

TELEC certification: certification for wireless communication equipment to ensure compliance with Japan's radio wave laws, good electromagnetic compatibility, and radio frequency performance.

reliability test

environmental test

High and low temperature test: Expose the product to different high and low temperature environments to evaluate its performance and reliability under extreme temperature conditions. By simulating the usage environment of the product under different climatic conditions, the stability of the product's materials, electronic components, and mechanical structure under temperature changes is tested.

Damp heat test: used to assess the moisture resistance of products in high temperature and high humidity environments. Simulate the possible impact of moisture on the product during use or storage in a humid environment, and test the product's moisture resistance, electrical insulation performance, and material corrosion resistance.

Salt spray test: Evaluate the corrosion resistance of products by testing them in a salt spray environment. Mainly used to test the corrosion resistance of protective coatings, metal components, etc. on the surface of products in salt spray corrosion environments, to ensure the reliability of products in coastal areas or harsh industrial environments.

Mechanical testing

Vibration test: Simulate the vibration environment that the product may encounter during transportation, installation, and use, and test the structural strength and stability of the product. By conducting tests with different frequencies, amplitudes, and vibration directions, evaluate whether the electronic components and parts inside the product will loosen, fall off, or be damaged due to vibration, ensuring that the product can work normally under vibration conditions.

Impact test: Apply instantaneous impact force to the product to assess its ability to withstand unexpected situations such as collisions and falls. Check whether the outer shell, internal structure, and electronic components of the product can remain intact under impact, and whether the product's functionality will be affected.

Drop test: The product is freely dropped from a certain height onto a specified surface to simulate the possible accidental drop of the product during transportation or use. The main evaluation is the packaging protection performance of the product and the anti drop ability of the product itself, checking whether the product has appearance damage, functional failure and other problems after falling.

Electrical Performance Test

Voltage withstand test: Apply a test voltage higher than the rated voltage to the electrical insulation part of the product to test whether the insulation performance of the product is good, in order to prevent safety accidents such as leakage and short circuit during use.

Grounding continuity test: Check whether the grounding system of the product is reliable, ensure that in the event of electrical faults, the current can be safely introduced into the ground, and protect the safety of users.

Electrical fast transient pulse group test: Simulate the fast transient pulse group generated by various interference sources in the electrical system, apply it to the power port, signal port, etc. of the product, evaluate the product's immunity to such interference, and ensure that the product can work stably in complex electromagnetic environments.
